Privacy and Saved Games
Understand what stays in your browser and what a private room needs to work.
Browser storage
Settings, active local games and up to 100 completed game records are stored on your device with your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to the server. Clear saved data in Settings on the game page to remove them from this browser.
Private rooms
A private room stores a random room identifier, a secret seat token for each player, the display names you enter, the match length and the confirmed game events. Your browser keeps your seat token in a strictly necessary, secure, HTTP-only cookie that is only sent to that room’s address. Rooms are deleted after 24 hours without game activity.
Cookies and tracking
The seat cookie is the only cookie the site sets, and only when you create or join a private room. There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party script, so no consent banner is needed.
Server logs
Like most web servers, ours writes access logs containing the IP address, time, requested address, referring page and browser type of each request. They are used for security and troubleshooting, and are deleted after 10 days.
