What you need to play on paper
Gather 30 small counters in two distinguishable sets of 15 and two ordinary six-sided dice. Paper circles, buttons or small coins can serve as checkers. Use the central strip for hit checkers and the right tray for borne-off checkers. For match play, track the doubling value on paper if you do not have a cube.
Print in landscape orientation with Fit to printable area; this also works on US Letter. Use thicker paper or place the sheet on a firm surface. At A4 size the points are narrow, so use small counters and overlap long stacks. A larger landscape print gives more room. The point numbers and alternating shades remain usable in grayscale.
Set up 15 checkers for each player
From your perspective, place two checkers on point 24, five on point 13, three on point 8 and five on point 6. Your opponent uses the mirrored arrangement. You move from 24 toward 1; the opponent moves in the other direction. Keep the numbering fixed and use the mirrored points for the other player.
